Hurricane Irene!!!

Hiya peeps! Lauren here.
On the news, people have been blabbing about Hurricane Irene. they evacuated everyone who lives near the beach or big water areas. I saw on the news that there was tons of damage and high floods. But don't worry! That only happens to those people :P

The Hurricane passed where I lived. Sorta. I wasn't in the main place of where the Hurricane went. So that's why i'm pretty safe here. But it really was hard rain and strong wind. It knocked down my Brother's basketball ring. No one could possibly die (unless you choose to go surfing like those morons outside). The stupid news just made it seem so scary.
